LOVE Todos Santos!
Sometimes you've just got to
get away to some place "non touristy" where you can
walk on an unspoiled beach - FOVERVER! Playa La Poza
is "that" beach! Los Colibris Casitas
is "the" place to stay and The Walking Connection
is "the" way to get there! Welcome to our adventure
to Todos Santos!
In 2010 we were introduced to
this special place on the Mexican Baja with
Sergio & Bryan Jauregui, owners of Los
Colibris Casitas! We loved loved our adventure so
much, we went back last year. And we loved that so much, were
personally headed back again this Fall and are leading another
small group back again in Spring of 2012.
We know that it is difficult
to picture a seventy-mile stretch of sand with no more than
a handful of people visible in any direction. But here is the
amazing most amazing thing about a beach walk we did this year.
This morning we went for a walk and the whales we say out numbered
the people. During a morning walk a small pod of 6 or so whales
were swimming just off shore from us for more than an hour.
We mean to tell you that they were no more than 15 to 20 yards
off shore feeding, breaching the surface, spying us and exhaling
so close to us, you could literally feel it! Throughout our
weeklong visit, we watched day in and day out as the parade
of whales made their way north along side La Poza Beach. Our
view point from the veranda at Los Colibris Casistas was the
perfect perch.
Todos Santos is about an hour
and a half north of Cabo San Lucas, but it
feels like a world away from city life. With its laid
back attitude and quaint atmosphere, you not only feel like
you are escaping from the rigors of daily life, you are. We'll
handle the details of your vacation while you walk the beach,
hike the hills, bask in the sun, savor the cuisine, kick back
and inhale fresh ocean air. That's it!

Why
we are going back?
At the end of our stay in Todos
Santos last March, we had to ask ourselves, why? Why leave this
beautiful place? Of course, "business as usual" gets
in the way and the return to daily life was inevitable, but
we left with grateful smiles knowing we would return soon! Here's
