Come heli-hike with us! Sounds too hard? Sounds too easy? Its neither, and its both. Heli-Hiking is what you make it. We are whisked in to the mountains via Bell 212, a 14-passenger helicopter to access remote areas of this mountainous terrain in the Columbia Mountains of Western Canada and from there, the choice is yours. You may wish to explore a meadow with your guide and learn about the native flora and fauna. You may wish to hike non-stop til lunch covering a few miles and a few feet of vertical gain. Elevation gain not your thing? That's ok. These gorgeous mountains have miles of undulating ridge tops that offer spectacular views. Heli-Hiking is suitable for all ages and abilities.

So now imagine this...the helicopter has just landed; you and your small group get off and huddle on the ground next to it, holding onto your hat as the wind swirls around you. The helicopter lifts off and the wind is suddenly gone. You slowly stand up. On a mountain top at 8,000 feet of elevation, the twisting stream in the green valley below is nearly a mile down. Across the valley, a glacier made of ice thousands or years old clings to the top of a jagged mountain. Beyond it, layer upon layers of mountain peaks touching the heavens fade to the horizon. In a word: EXHILARATION!!!! You have to see it AND feel it to believe it!
