Guest Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Todos Santos

3:30 pm - Meet at Tropicana Inn Hotel in San Jose del Cabo for your private transfer to Todos Santos. Check-in to your lovely casita overlooking the sea.

Los Colibris Casitas was made for nature lovers seeking beauty and tranquility. Each of the casas and casitas have magnificent views of the Pacific ocean, a freshwater estuary and a palm grove oasis to the front, and the Sierra de la Laguna mountains to the side and back. From your casa you can watch the fishermen cast their nets on the beach in the early morning light, wait for the green flash of a magnificent Baja sunset in the late afternoon, and enjoy the vast expanse of a star-filled sky at night. Los Colibris is just a 10-minute walk to 70 miles of pristine, virtually empty beach, and a 5-minute drive to the delightful restaurants, artists’ galleries and shops of Todos Santos.

If time and daylight are permitting we will stretch our legs and take a beach walk before our welcome dinner at La Casita Tapas & Wine Bar.

Day 2: Baja Adventures Morning, Noon and Night!

Morning: Desert Triple Waterfall Adventure

Hike through an incredible desert canyon featuring 3 waterfalls and fantastic desert scenery. Picnic lunch at waterfall.

OPTIONAL - Rather take an easier pace? Enjoy Los Colibris on your own and walk the hill, beach or palm oasis right from the property followed by a dip in the pool and maybe even a massage?!

Afternoon: Historical Walking Tour of charming Todos Santos with its colonial architecture and art studios aplenty.

Evening: Free for dinner. We'll supply recommendations and shuttle service.

Day 3: Trip to San Vicente including visit to Mountain Potters

This is a fantastic opportunity to experience the traditional way of life of the mountain ranchers in Baja. We’ll meet local potters in a true mountain oasis, and learn how Baja Californians have carved their homes and livings out of the mountains for centuries. Doña Ramona will give us a pottery class while sharing her ranching way of life. Her family will prepare an incredibly delicious ranch lunch for us, and will give us a tortilla-making lesson just before dining. Driving is 90 minutes round trip.

Evening: Champagne, Stars & Cactus

Beautiful evening of bird watching and stargazing with local astronomer, followed by dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Michael’s at the Gallery. Aztec, Mayan and Greek mythologies taught while exploring the skies.

Day 4: MORE Baja Adventures Morning, Noon and Night!

Morning: Cliff Walk and Beach Picnic

Take a hike along the rugged cliffs with dramatic scenery featuring sea lions, birds, whales and cactus. Enjoy a picnic lunch on pristine palm-ringed beach. Swimming at the beach or walk some more, it is all yours to explore.

OPTIONAL: If you would like an easier hike and a later start meet the group on the back side of their hike for a more meandering pace, but still with amazing scenery.  All will be rewarded with a delicious lunch.

Afternoon: Siesta – You’re on vacation! Free time to do what ever makes your vacation a vacation!

Evening: Mexican Cooking Lessons with a Local Chef.

One part freshly made margarita.
Second part a little of this, a little of that and a huge dose of fun!
