I have been doing a lot of "sole" searching...
Nature is tremendously healing and can revive the human soul. "Sole" searching is getting out on foot to connect with the earth while nourishing the human spirit.
Sharing the world through travel has been my identity. This strange and difficult time has created a sense that the world was being taken away. Who am I?
Feeling lost, walking has been my balm.
As the world begins to come back into our grasp, I am planning to regain my balance by sole searching on the Camino in Spain this October. There is a state of flow when you are out wandering in a new place. You can lose track of time and space yet you are ever present, finding your self.
Human connections have also been missed - the companionship of a shared discovery. Imagine trekking along tree lined paths to quaint villages along the most picturesque portions of the Camino de Santiago. At the end of the day reliving those serendipitous moments with fellow travelers connects our humanity.
As we tip toe back out into the world, what better way to breathe new life into our depleted psyche.
You are invited...
