Every detail reflects the heart of Mexican hospitality, carefully curated by Jo Ann Taylor to create an experience that’s authentic, immersive, and true to place—without compromise.
A Signature Adventure
We begin at Los Colibris Casitas, perched above miles of untamed coastline and endless horizons. Here, mornings open to fishermen casting into silver surf, afternoons stretch beneath palm shadows, and evenings dissolve into star-drenched Baja skies.

From this oasis, we head north toward Magdalena Bay. This is where gray whales complete their 6,000-mile migration from the Arctic to these warm, sheltered lagoons to mate, give birth, and linger close to the surface, curious and unafraid.

Cabo to Todos Santos, To Magdalena Bay & Back To Cabo.
Our home here is Camp Cecil de la Bahía, a safari-style luxury tented camp tucked between mangroves and dunes. On one side, the whales breach and spyhop; on the other, flocks of herons, ospreys, and pelicans fill the estuary. Each walk-in tent is a sanctuary. Chandeliers sparkle from the ceiling. Woven rugs line the floor, fine linens drape your bed, and the sound of the ocean creates a perfect space, just for you.

Days unfold at nature’s pace. One morning, a mother California grey whale nudges her calf toward your boat. Another, dolphins race alongside as you glide through turquoise water. Afternoons bring walks through dunes or paddles through mangrove channels. Evenings are for laughter, storytelling, & wine beneath the stars.

Back in Todos Santos, the adventure concludes the way all great Mexican journeys should — with a cooking class, feast, and dance party! Celebrate with great food, a rhythmic beat, and maybe a little dancing before we say our adiós, not goodbye.

This is more than a trip — it’s a celebration of wild places, and wonder.
