Thriving Despite The Pandemic!
In 1989 we created and opened The Walking Connection, and in the wake of 9/11, we launched iConquer Adventures in 2001. Both are independent Glendale and Peoria, Arizona small businesses that offer walking and hiking adventure travel to our own Grand Canyon, and internationally to more than 30 countries. Both are wholly-owned by and operated by Jo Ann and Gene Taylor, Arizona residents since 1979.
The pandemic has effectively closed all of our travel-related business since February. That will likely extend until the end of 2020. But that isn't keeping us from learning, innovating, and re-inventing our businesses with the continued goal of sharing the world with our guests and customers. Rather than set up a Go Fund Me page or seek donations to help sustain us until travel returns, we have created a brand new Print Gallery named Gene's Journey that is designed to bring of bit of the world indoors to you at your home, starting with beautiful sunset images over the Westwing Mountains from Sonoran Mountain Ranch in Peoria.

Sky Fire is a collection of photographs of the dramatic Arizona sunsets made by me (Gene Taylor) from the desert behind my Sonoran Mountain Ranch house over the last decade or so.
The western views offered are taken from the Peoria Preserve at SMR and feature silhouettes of the Westwing Mountain's, home to Peoria's new Paloma Park.
