Labor Day Women's Only Walking Weekend -- 2010!
This is one of our favorite cities in the world. There is so
much to see and do, and most of it is within walking distance
or a short bus or taxi ride of Union Square. There is easily
more to do than you can fit into a "long weekend," so we have
tried to give you a taste of the city and still leave you with
enough free time to experience and see things on your own.
Start your weekend
with an exhilarating WELCOME WALK across the Golden Gate Bridge!
With beautiful distant views of the city's skyline
across the bay all of its excitement will unfold through out
the weekend ahead. Then relax in our elegant boutique hotel,
two blocks from Union Square while tasting complimentary wine
in the quaint lobby and enjoy a foot massage in the Walking
Connection suite. AAAAH...Life is Good!
Anticipate a refreshing
morning walk to the Farmers' Market as the
city awakens to a new day. Mingle with the locals and surround
yourself with the aroma of home baked breads and the glorious
colors of fresh cut flowers. Then we are off to Chinatown,
Jackson Square and North Beach on a guided
Java Walk to saunter along and learn historical trivia
and interesting insights into San Francisco's famous coffee
scene! After a full day, return to the hotel for your
complimentary foot massage and wine tasting.
Sunday
venture out and explore the Bay City! Ride
on the world famous cable cars or tour the Napa Valley wine
country. Take the MUNI to Golden Gate Park or visit one of the
many museums or gardens. Maybe take a ferry ride for a walk
on Angel Island. Enjoy! This evening is filled with special
fun, a “Girls Gotta Get Away” Pizza party in our
private suite.
Monday is our Grand
Finale! Bid farewell to San Francisco
on one last walk with grand sweeping views from Nob
Hill. A jaunt around Huntington Park,
an inviting place to pause, then step by step walk a labyrinth
at Grace Cathedral the crown jewel of this
affluent neighborhood.
