Reservations for this trip are available on a limited
basis and are only available on a first come first served
basis. Should this trip completely sell out, please see
our waiting list policy below.

Price per person:
$4898
USD per person (based upon double occupancy)

Prices
are exclusive of International & Domestic airfares,
park permits, transit cards and fuel surcharges.
Deposits:
A deposit of $750 USD is required to reserve your space.
No space will be held without a complete deposit.
Deposits may be made by check or credit card. Our tour
prices are subject to change due to currency fluctuation
at the time of final payment.
Payments:
All payments must be made according to the schedule &
are subject to the cancellation & penalty policy.
Final payment is due on or before 125 days prior to the
trip. We request that all final payments be made by check.
Not
Included: The price of this tour does not include
Domestic or International Airfare, fuel surcharges, park
permits, transit card, fuel surcharges, departure taxes,
gratuities for the yacht and safari camp staff, local
guides,Visa/Passport handling fees, travel insurance,
early check in & late check out of rooms, optional
tours or items of a personal nature such as drinks (including
wine, beer, softdrinks, cocktails), photographs &
phone calls. We recommend flying in and out of Quito Airport.
No discounts or refunds on any unused portion of the tour.
Special
Supplier Gifts and Items:
As a local custom, vendors, suppliers, ground operators,
restaurants and hotel properties may offer complimentary
beverages that may or may not contain alcohol, rather
than water.
Should you elect not to accept this gift, complimentary
water may not be offered as a replacement and may only
be offered for a fee. This is a local custom beyond the
control of The Walking Connection.
Air
Arrangements: We have not included air arrangements
of any kind for this trip. We have found it common for
our guests to be interested in upgrades, use frequent
flier miles, as well as the desire to arrive early or
extend their stays. Once this trip is confirmed
we will assist in helping you make your
arrangements or refer you to a travel agent. We
recommend that you fly in and out of Quito. Group arrangements
will be made for you to fly from Quiot to the islands
and back. (airfare not included)
Cancellation,
Penalty & Refund Policies: Should you have
to cancel your tour the following terms will apply: Due
to the exclusive and small group nature of this adventure,
all cancellation requests will incur a $150 per person
administrative fee.
For cancellations from 91 -120 Days prior to the trip:
20% penalty of the total trip cost.
For cancellations from 61 -90 days prior to the trip 40%
penalty of the total trip cost.
For Cancellations and no shows 60 days before trip, no
refunds.
No refunds will be made for any unused portion of the
tour.
All
cancellations must be made in writing and delivered to
The Walking Connection via e-mail and/or United States
Post Office. Your cancellation date is the date your notice
is received and confirmed by The Walking Connection, not
the postmark date.
Tour
Minimum: This tour must have a minimum of 10
guests traveling together. Otherwise, a small group surcharge
may be imposed.
Tour
Maximum: This trip is limited to 13 guests.
Waiting
List Policy: On occasion, Walking Connection
tours sell out and a waiting list is formed. If this should
happen, the following policy will apply: To be put on
the waiting list, a fully refundable deposit is due with
reservation. If space becomes available, you will be notified
at that time and if you choose to go, the standard cancellation
policy will then apply. If not, your money will be refunded
in full.
Travel
Roommates and Single Supplements: If you have
registered for double occupancy but do not have a travel
roommate, the Walking Connection will attempt to locate
one for you. In the event that a roommate cannot be found,
you may be charged for a Single Supplement for any portion
of the tour where you will be rooming as a single. Travel
roommates are assigned in the order in which we receive
deposits and confirmed reservations. Final roommate assignments
will be made and you will be notified of any Single Supplement
charges due 30 days prior to your final payment due date.

NOTE that Gene & Jo Ann Taylor are the designated
hosts and escorts for this trip. Another host and guide
maybe substituted should they be unable to lead this adventure
for any reason.

Please

I am aware that Walking Connection tours (whether in civilized
or remote areas) encompass travel by foot, boat, plane,
automobile, motor coach, horseback, or the like. I am
further aware that the activities planned such as but
not limited to trekking, hiking, boating and animal viewing,
contain inherent risks of injury, emotional trauma and
illness such as but not limited to malaria. I recognize
that such risks may be present at any time before, during
and after the trip I am participating in with The Walking
Connection. I am also aware that adequate medical services
or facilities may not be readily available or accessible
during some or all of the time and that evacuation if
necessary can be prolonged, difficult and expensive. In
consideration of, and as part payment for the right to
participate in, and by registering for any Walking Connection
tour now or in the future, I have and do hereby fully
assume all risk of injury, property damage, emotional
trauma and death, and it is my intention for me and my
heirs, executors and administrators to waive any and all
right and claims for damages I may have against Gene and
Jo Ann Taylor, Taylor Marketing and Management, LLC.,
The Walking Connection and any individual associated with
these event/tour, their representatives, successors, and
assignees, and will hold them harmless for any and all
injuries, mishaps and loss of property suffered in connection
with my participation in this event/tour. I have been
warned that I must be in good health to participate in
this event and I also give permission for the free use
of my name, likeness, picture and any opinion expressed
by me in any advertisement, newsletter, broadcast, telecast
or print media account of this event without any compensation
to me whatsoever.
