At the end of this adventure, our custom walking and hiking
itinerary will stand out in your mind as one of the best and most
diverse Walking Connection active vacations you have ever experienced.
It was designed by the Walking Connection's Tour Director
and Owner, Jo Ann Taylor. Along with our resident guides,
they will take you off traditional walkways and trails and bring
you into contact with the natural Costa Rica.
We'll introduce you
to, the culture of it's proud people by mingling among a Farmer’s
Market. The sheer natural wonders of this pristine land
will provide you with memories of a lifetime. Each year we return
to this country and in this inaugural trip there will new and exciting
discoveries. But we always return to the inviting warmth of the
people we have met along the way.
Experience an unending array of unique wildlife
in its natural habitat! Thrill at the excitement of actually
standing a few feet from a 300 pound Green Sea Turtle while she
lays 80-100 eggs, before returning to the sea. Rise early
to go look for the hatching baby turtles that dig their way out
of the nest and then make their way to the water. Take a real walking
and hiking eco-tour with the Walking Connection Travel Experience!
Our local naturalist guide will find multiple
species of rare birds, sloth or monkeys hiding in the treetops before
you even get your binoculars out. They will provide in-depth information
about each place we visit including the natural history and local
culture. We will have a variety of special walks and hikes through
private reserves, farms, forests, grasslands and overhanging bridges.
In true Walking Connection style,
you can go at your own pace. Our adventure through the rainforests,
city walks and along the beach will leave an indelible mark on all
your senses.
As always, traveling in Walking Connection
