These adventures are three nights and four days in Arizona and Grand Canyon National Park. Your trip begins in The Valley of The Sun (Phoenix). You'll travel north through the majestic Sonoran Desert to the Aspen and Ponderosa Pine forests of Northern Arizona. Here you can visit and walk through one of Arizona's hidden jewels, Walnut Canyon! Then we're off to the high desert plauteaus and one of the greatest natural wonders of the world - Grand Canyon. Here you will experience one entire day at the Canyon as few people ever do, with a Grand Canyon expert guide! Our carefully planned hikes are geared to people of all interests and abilities. You'll have another full day at your leisure to explore more of the park on your own, take an exciting helicopter ride, go horseback riding or take a 1/2 day float on the Colorado River. You'll stay at a newly renovated lodge inside the park and enjoy meals and the time spent with fellow explorers.

We'll help you physically prepare for your hike, we'll completely outfit you with all the gear you'll need and our expert guides will lead you on a 3-night, 4-day journey you will never forget. Our guides are as entertaining as they are informative, and they are safety and Wilderness First Responder certified.

We provide round trip transportation from from The Valley of the Sun (Phoenix) to Grand Canyon and from the rim to the river and back, we take care of all the details, food, permits, while you learn about the geology, history, cultures and characters of the most beatiful place on earth - Grand Canyon.

Conquer The Canyon was created by The Walking Connection to benefit several very special non-profit organizations. It is a premier fundraising program that prepares people just like you, from beginning walkers to seasoned hikers to experience The Grand Canyon as few people ever do - up close and personal - one step at a time.

Since it's inception in 2003, Conquer The Canyon has provided National Non-profit organzations with programming and an opportunities to raise more than 17 million mission related dollars in gross revenue. In 2006 and 2007, The Walking Connection successfully lead more than 1200 walkers and hikers safely and successfully at Grand Canyon. 2008 will be a record year!
